Meal Program
Our Street Food Initiative includes handcrafted cheeseburgers freshly prepared in a licensed commercial kitchen. Meals may include burger buns, tomato, lettuce, egg, honey mustard, ketchup, and other approved ingredients.
Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities
Volunteers may serve in different areas depending on event needs, experience, availability, and comfort level. Training and guidance will be provided.
Food Preparation
Assist with meal assembly, burger preparation support, packaging meals into insulated bags, kitchen sanitation, and general prep assistance under chef supervision.
Food Distribution
Distribute meals onsite from the canopy setup while following food safety procedures, including gloves, masks, hairnets, and sanitation standards.
Event Admin & Registration
Support beneficiary registration, volunteer check-in, basic event documentation, and simple outreach tracking.
Crowd Management
Help maintain organized lines, guide event flow, and support a safe and respectful environment for the community.
Media Team
Capture photos and videos during preparation and distribution to document impact and support community outreach awareness.
Sanitation & Cleanup
Assist with maintaining cleanliness during the event, support breakdown after distribution, and help keep the service area orderly.
Food Safety & Training
A Food Handler’s Certificate may be required for food preparation and distribution roles. RFF can help provide training guidance and food safety resources when needed. All direct cooking and grilling will be handled by a qualified chef.
